Cookie Policy

Information on cookies and similar technologies used on wleci.pl, pursuant to Art. 173 of the Polish Telecommunications Act and Directive 2009/136/EC (the Cookie Directive).

§ 1. What cookies are and which ones we use

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. On wleci.pl we use only the following cookies: (1) "lang" – strictly necessary, persistent (up to 1 year). Stores your chosen interface language (pl/en). Without it you would need to select a language on every visit. Legal basis: legitimate interest – technical necessity. (2) "theme" – strictly necessary, persistent (up to 1 year). Stores your preferred colour scheme (light/dark/system). Required to remember visual settings. Legal basis: legitimate interest – technical necessity. (3) "cookie-consent" – strictly necessary, persistent (up to 1 year). Records your cookie consent choices, as required by law. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 173 of the Telecommunications Act).

§ 2. Cookies requiring consent

wleci.pl does NOT use analytical (e.g. Google Analytics) or marketing/advertising cookies without your explicit prior consent. Should such cookies be introduced in the future, a consent banner will allow you to accept or decline them before they are set. Session cookies used by the application (e.g. authentication cookies after logging in, if you have an account) are strictly necessary for the system to function and do not require consent under Art. 173(3)(2) of the Telecommunications Act.

§ 3. Managing cookies and contact

You may at any time: (a) withdraw or change your consents using the cookie preference banner available in the website footer, (b) delete cookies in your browser settings (Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Cookies). Note: deleting the "lang" and "theme" cookies will cause your language and visual preferences to be lost. Deleting "cookie-consent" will cause the consent banner to reappear. The Service does not use browser fingerprinting tracking mechanisms. Local storage (localStorage) is used solely to remember interface preferences and contains no personal data.
